Carly Bonarek graduated from GVSU in 2013 with two bachelor’s degrees: Nursing and Biology/Pre-Med, going on to work in the Emergency Department at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital and then as a Travel RN. Carly returned to the Spectrum/Corewell system in 2018 by hiring in to the Gerber Emergency Department, and then going on to the Trauma Program Coordinator role in 2022. Outside of work, Carly is an artist working primarily in acrylic and woodcarving, and an avid outdoorswoman, spending lots of time in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
