You can watch the presentations as many times as you like during their access period. There is a live Q&A and then a test at the end for you to measure how well you retained the information. Access to the course will start on 9/8/25 with the live Q&A on 9/18/25. \nIt’s difficult to visualize different aspects of the internal and external structures of the human body and their physical relationships. In our Trauma Specific Anatomy 2.0 course\, you will embark on a fascinating journey that will take you through an exploration of the 9 different sections of the body. This course is a continuation of our Anatomy series\, which builds on advanced learners’ knowledge of the human body regions and provides an in-depth understanding of the complex and abstract parts of anatomy. Using illustrations\, and explanations\, students will explore the relationship of muscles\, vessels\, bones\, tissues\, and nerves with each other in a well body and the consequences of traumatic injury. By approaching the study of the body in this organized way\, you will gain the knowledge necessary to understand the body\, and fully comprehend the relationship to traumatic injuries\, as well as possible treatments. \nSeptember 8-18\, 2025 with 15 contact hours\, please see agenda for details. \nPayment is due by August 22\, 2025. \nAgenda \nCancellation policy is in effect.

DESCRIPTION:Evaluating Teen Injury Prevention Programs: Comparing strategies for impact and engagement \nEvaluating teen injury prevention programs can be challenging and time-consuming\, especially when trying to maintain student engagement. This session will explore and compare practical methods for assessing the effectiveness of injury prevention presentations aimed at teens. \n\nKatie Watson\, BSN\, RN\n \nKatie has been the Injury Prevention Coordinator for Henry Ford Jackson’s Trauma Program for 3 years. Her 11-year RN experience includes emergency care\, home care\, nursing education\, long term acute care and perioperative services. She enjoys working in injury prevention because she can connect with individuals and communities to encourage health\, wellness and safety. \n\n\nObjective 1:  Describe the ThinkFirst for Teens program.\n\nObjective 2:  Identify and compare at least two methods of evaluating effectiveness of teen injury prevention programming.
