DESCRIPTION:Overview: The inaugural Trauma Symposium\, hosted by the Henry Ford Health Trauma Recovery Center\, brings together practitioners working with trauma survivors for a day of learning and networking. 55-90% of adults in the US have experienced at least one traumatic experience in their life. Working with trauma survivors requires a unique approach from practitioners to ensure the best care and outcomes possible. One such approach is meeting the survivor where they are.
