SUMMARY:Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) Renewal
DESCRIPTION:Has your CPST certification expired\, or do you know someone whose certification has expired?  If so\, we still have spaces available for the September 10 course in Milan\, but the registration cutoff is approaching. Please register as soon as possible if you are interested. \nPlease note that this is NOT a refresher course. This is a one-day testing renewal course\, and we will not be reviewing the material before testing begins. Participants will start testing right from the beginning of the course. \nCPST Course Registration can be found at cert.safekids.org under courses. \nOther classes to become a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) may be found at this link: New Search Courses SKCMS – it is a searchable form. Just enter “Michigan” from the state drop down (and nothing else) and hit the search (you may need to scroll down). Keep in mind that these opportunities typically are offered in the warmer months as there is a strong hands-on component that requires you to be outside. More classes will be available in the spring of 2027. Also be reminded that you can sign up to receive e-mail notifications (at the top of the form) when new classes are added.

She also contributes to trauma initiatives at the tertiary care center\, Bronson Methodist Hospital. \nMican is guided by the motto\, “Be the change you wish to see in the world\,” which reflects her commitment to continuous improvement in patient care and professional practice. \nOutside of work\, she enjoys camping\, reading\, going for walks\, and spending time with family and friends. \n\nObjective 1: Learner will be able to identify different types of succession planning.\n \nObjective 2: Learner will be able to state reasons why succession planning in trauma programs is important.
