Instead of our usual Community Safety Event on the day before the Symposium, this year we are excited to be offering a new concept.  It is the 2023 Injury/Violence Prevention Professional Development Retreat on Oct 18, 2023 from 12pm-5pm in Southfield, MI.  Registration is 11:30am-12pm, light lunch will be provided. This event will be a hands-on, concept building workshop where you will be inspired, refreshed and leave with tools to put to use at your centers. Cathedral Cultural Center – Southfield, MI.

In addition, the MTC Injury Prevention Planning Committee is pleased to announce the opening of registration for our Annual Injury Prevention Symposium.  We are planning an amazing Symposium again this year.  The Symposium will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at the Somerset Inn in Troy, MI. We have reserved the venue and chosen great speakers on a variety of Injury Prevention related topics.  Agenda with speakers and topics to follow soon.
