Lisa Hill, DNP RN TCRN EMT-P IC is a pediatric clinical instructor for the nursing program at St. Clair County Community College. Over the course of her career, she has worked as a field paramedic, EMS education/QA manager, paramedic program director, and a nurse in the Neonatal and Pediatric ICUs at Henry Ford St. John Hospital.
This presentation will cover highlights from the 2024 ENA conference including the role of pediatric readiness and morbidity/mortality on pediatric trauma patients, the importance of pediatric education for emergency room nurses, and pediatric psychosocial considerations in disaster and humanitarian crises.
