Purpose: Our goal is to deliver the most current information on trauma and its management to all health care professionals. In addition, applying the clinical, practical and education review points of each session, allowing change in practice by integrating trauma’s latest innovative strategies in emergent care arena for their health care systems and community.
Objectives:
- Discuss current methods of diagnosis and management of patients with traumatic complex injuries.
- Identify complications related to the care of the trauma patient.
- Apply knowledge gained and les-sons learned to provide quality trauma care in practice settings.
Intended Audience: This course is intended for staff nurses, nurse managers and educators practicing in the area of trauma nursing and critical care, and pre-hospital providers.

Details: This live activity is eligible for a maximum of 7.0 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM and ANCC contact hours, 1.0 Human Trafficking and 1.0 Pain & Symptom Management credit. Criteria for successful completion includes attendance at entire event and submission of the online conference evaluation form.
