This is a combined meeting and educational event for both registrars and TPMs. It is designed for those who have completed ICD-10 coding courses and the nurse managers who will be collaborating with registrars and coders. The scenarios presented will be coded as a group from each facility, so plan to attend and sit together. Seating is limited in the auditorium, therefore only 3 per facility can be initially registered. Please add any extras on the waiting list. If space allows, we will contact you.

 

This one day session is devoted to refreshing ICD-10-CM/PCS skills. Separate business meetings for registrars and nurses will be held over lunch (provided).

 

The day will include:

• A brief review of basic ICD-10-CM/PCS code construction
• Trauma coding scenarios

Bring codebooks to participate in this interactive review.

 

The MTC board has determined this is a critical update and overview for all members. There will only be a fee assessed if you register and do not show up. This represents a $150 savings per person.
