Trauma Advocacy Day at the Capital, May 23, 2019
The MTC Legislative Advocacy and Outreach Committee strives to increase public awareness of the need for, and effectiveness of, trauma centers in the State of Michigan. Committee members may use the following to reach that goal: additional promotion of trauma awareness related events, targeted campaigns in areas in need of increased awareness, and identifying new opportunities to advocate for trauma care to the general public.
Members will also go to Lansing to meet with legislators in person. This committee works closely with our lobbyist to keep abreast of issues that are of importance to our member hospitals.
