Mentoring Program
The MTC Mentoring Committee was formed in 2023. In 2025 the Committee was discontinued and a Lead position reporting to the Board was created.
The Networking Directory is now available on the MTC website Mentor Directory – Michigan Trauma Coalition (mitrauma.org).
The Networking Program is designed to:
- Provide a list of experienced contacts who have agreed to make themselves available to answer questions, brainstorm, and offer guidance.
- Provide MTC members access to knowledgeable and experienced trauma professionals in a variety of roles.
- Foster professional relationships with other trauma professionals in Michigan facilities.
- Empower emerging leaders with contacts and information that promotes career growth.
The program is available to all members of the coalition however, the success of the program is dependent on the willingness of its users to make themselves available for communication with other users.
