Overview: This session is designed to empower trauma nurses, to navigate the process of writing and publishing an article. Topics include choosing a compelling topic, conducting a literature review, structuring your manuscript, adhering to ethical guidelines, and navigating the publication process, along with practical tips on how to handle reviewers’ feedback.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand the basic structure of a scholarly article, how to formulate a compelling introduction, effectively discuss methods, present results, and conclude with a powerful discussion that can stimulate further research
  2. Become familiar with the submission and publication process, including how navigate the peer-review process, respond to reviewers’ comments, and adhere to ethical guidelines for academic writing
