Bleeding Control
Many injuries can result in bleeding. These injuries can happen after a fall, car crash, knife injury, or gunshot injury. When bleeding occurs, minutes count. A person who is bleeding a lot can bleed to death in as little as 5 minutes. Knowing how to manage a severe bleed can save a life. The Stop the Bleed program trains people to stop bleeding by using pressure and a tourniquet.
