February 17 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Clinical Research in Trauma Care: From Concept to Compliance

This session provides a practical, step-by-step overview of the clinical research process within trauma and acute care settings, from identifying a research question to study execution, analysis, and dissemination. Emphasis will be placed on selecting appropriate study designs, understanding regulatory and ethical requirements, and ensuring compliance with institutional and federal research standards.

Designed for clinicians, research staff, and trainees at varying levels of experience, this session aims to demystify the research process and equip attendees with the foundational tools needed to initiate and conduct rigorous, compliant clinical research within trauma systems.
